Architecture is the art of ordering space – whether it be a room, or a series of spaces creating a building, or a group of buildings creating a community. Working with an enormous palette of forms, materials, technology, and ideas, the designer, with the client has an opportunity to affect the essence of how people work, feel and live within the spaces.
The volume and geometry of the buildings, the way natural light affects space, the manner in which materials are applied and energy is used, and the relationship of the building to the site and environs are some of many important considerations, which define architectural space. The goal and objective of Dale Meyer Associates is to listen carefully to the client’s needs, to understand the variables that exists in a project and to use the potential of those variables to arrive at the appropriate design solution.
